Term 3 Activities

NETBALL ACTIVITIES

                     
                     Room 27 students are doing their stretches as a warm up to netball activities.

                                         
                                       Knee bends help to get their calf muscles stretched.

     
                                              Now they are playing a game of ins and outs.

Museum Visit

         Our class had a trip to the Auckland Museum as part of out Social Studies Inquiry Topic.

A Special Visitor

 Room 27 and Room 24 were privileged to have a visit from Zenobia Southcombe an author  and illustrator.

 

      Zenobia explained to the classes how she starts her writing process and what inspires her.

       
                         The children were intrigued and had lots of questions to ask her.

Room 27 Speech Finalists

                Congratulations to Room 27 Speech Finalists.  We are all very proud of you. 
                             

                                     Samina was a finalist who came third in her category.
                                       

                   Draven was a class finalist with an awesome speech on 'The Army Wants You'.      

                     Saadia was a school finalist and she presented an interesting speech on 'Karate'.
